Opening Reception: Friday, May 26th, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Historically, Sag Harbor, a village of 2 square miles, was a thriving seaport and whaling port – President George Washington approved Sag Harbor as a port of entry to New York State. Sag Harbor today, no longer in the whaling industry, is a unique village, home to active seafarers, fishermen, artists, writers, environmentalists, actors, filmmakers, teachers, families and retirees, among others, all sharing a common love for and inspiration from, this area’s natural environs and the sea.  This annual exhibition pays tribute to this special place, highlighting works by some of the areas many talented artists.
